Motivation would help
Alot of you are familiar with Squiggly here and I know she talks about the challange we started for earning the most activity points weekly through weight watchers. I am all set to go. I bought new shoes and even tapes to exercise with. Now all I need is motivation. I love the bracelet we chose and wish I did not have to give it up but All I want to do is sleep or relax. I have come so far in this journey. i have lost 26 pound so far with changing the way I eat and comofort myself. I try not to turn to food when I am upset. Although I have more pounds to lose, I need to lose inches. I have lost 3 around my waist and I can now button jeans that I could not even get around my waist. The way to get the inches off is through exercise. I am going to have to get off my butt and just do it. I NEED to do it for me. I always feel better after I get done, it is just getting started that sucks. I have done some this week. I have earned 4 activity points. Not bad.
You need excerise to be the first thing you do when you getup in the morning, that is how I like to start my day. So when you go to get ready for the day you are good and awake and I do believe it gives me more energy. You have done great just try to stay motivated, I know it is hard and we do get burned out but we have to push forward. I know we can do it!!Kim

You are doing great. I know it’s hard to get motivated to exercise. My two walks happened after dark. LOL!!! Great job with the inches lost. I’m turning my IM on if you can get on. Love you lots!!! See you had an excuse to buy new shoes!
I work out beforemy kids go to bed…and make them do it with me. They hven’t slept so well EVER! I LOVE it! If you have kids, I highly recommend doing that.
Good luck!
some is better than none. I have been on an exercise hiatus this week and i am having trouble getting started again!
You just have to start somewhere and 4 act points sounds good! Keep it moving!
I agree on something is better than none. It reminds me of that darn kids Christmas movie “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” where Mr. Winter wants to change his ways and they sing that song that say’s “Put one foot in front of the other, and soon you’ll be walking cross the floor. Put one foot in front of the other and soon you’ll be walking out the door”. That’s you right now. One step at a time can lead to more. I know it sounds silly but we played that movie over and over and over and over…..again.
Have a great week!
Thanks for the replies. After I posted I just got up and did the walk at home CD I had. Walked 1 mile. Earned another point. Thanks again
