			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><font size="3" color="#f79646" face="Courier New"><font size="2">It has been a long week. I was sick all week. I am starting to feel better. I am still feeling weak but I can breathe better and the coughing has subsided. Thank goodness. I am hoping to try to get some exercise tomorrow. I think I am going to try to walk tomorrow. I do not want to overdo it my first day back. The bad thing about being sick is not exercising. I lose the motivation for exercising. It always starts this way. Once I stop exercising for a while it is hard to get back into it. Then I start to slip back in to old habits slowly. I am glad I am recognizing the signs of the pattern. I need to break it. One thing i need is the motivation to continue. Something to stop and say look. &#8220;You are fine. One week is not going to ruin all you have worked for.&#8221; When I started losing weight, I wore a size 24 that were really getting snug. I could not get my 22s up over my hips. It was a happy day when I could button those jeans. I decided to go to try on jeans to see how far I was form getting into a 20. I grabbed a pair and went to the dressing room. I put them on and pulled them up. All I could think was, &#8220;Hey they are up. I actually got them over my hips. How great is that. Then I BUTTONED them. It was all i could do to contain my self. I was jumping up in down in the dressing room. So I decided to be brave and try a smaller size on. I grabbed a pair of 18ws and then I decided to try the 16s as well. So I went back in to the dressing room and tried on the 18w. Not only could I get them over my hips, I was able to button those as well. I am beside myself. I could feel the tears coming. How long as it been since I was in a size 18w. I am guessing at least 8 years. They are a little snug and I have the muffin top thing going with my stomach, but wow. 4 months ago, I could not even get 22s over my hips and now I am buttoning 18s. So just for fun I decided to try the 16w. They went up over the hips as well. I couldn&#8217;t button them though. But there was only a inch or gap. I am on my way. That is the motivation I need to continue on. I can do this. I will do this.</font> </font></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><font size="3" color="#9bbb59" face="Arial Black">Well I did not lose weight this week. I gained 0.4 lbs. I know that is not much, but I worked harder and ate better this week than I have since I started. I did not go over my points at all, and I did not eat my activity points. I did not eat my extra 35 weekly points. I got my milks, fruit and veggies in most of the week. I did better this week than any other week. I won our weekly activity point challange with 23 points. Two more points than the previous week. I am just going to have to kick in in gear. I do need to concentrate on my non scale victories. When I started WW, I was 246 pound and wore a size 24 jeans that were getting snug. Walking up the stairs, caused me to be short of breath.  Today I wear size 22. Some of them are looser as well.  I can now go up the stairs without becomming short of breath.  Another victory are my measurements.  </font></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alot of you are familiar with Squiggly here and I know she talks about the challange we started for earning the most activity points weekly through weight watchers.  I am all set to go. I bought new shoes and even tapes to exercise with. Now all I need is motivation. I love the bracelet we chose and wish I did not have to give it up but All I want to do is sleep or relax. I have come so far in this journey. i have lost 26 pound so far with changing the way I eat and comofort myself. I try not to turn to food when I am upset. Although I have more pounds to lose,  I need to lose inches. I have lost 3 around my waist and I can now button jeans that I could not even get around my waist. The way to get the inches off is through exercise. I am going to have to get off my butt and just do it. I NEED to do it for me. I always feel better after I get done, it is just getting started that sucks.  I have done some this week. I have earned 4 activity points. Not bad.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Good afternoon. I hope everyone is enjoying their saturday. I know I am. This eek has been rough at work.  I am a nurse manager where I work and our annual servey was last week from the State Board of Health. I just took over this position about 2 1/2 weeks ago. i have been through 11 other surveys since I have worked at my facility, but I was always the CNA, QMA or floor nurse. This time I was in charge and responsible for what anyone does on my unit. Talk about nerve racking and so stressful. I was putting in 12-14 hour days. It was dark when I got to work and dark when I left. My youngest child  as been sticking to me like glue since yesterday evening. I am exhusted. But they left a day early and we got a deficiency free survey. Yippee. This is our third in 4 years and 2nd in a row. From what i heard, we have the strictest group of surveyors in our state, so even better. Hopefully things will calm down and I will have more free time. Still learning the ropes at work.</p>
<p>Today was weigh in day at WW. I lost 4.8 lbs. I was so shocked because I didn&#8217;t make the best choices this week and did some sress eating as well. Work brought in lunch for the Managers and breakfast some days as well d/t we are unable to leave while surveyors are there. I am so doing the happy dance right now. State is gone and so is some weight. Maybe the stress from the week helped.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Happy Black friday everyone. I think think this is one of my favorite days of the year. As the title says, I was standing outside of best buy from 2 am til 5am. It was a bit nippy. But on the positive side I should have earned a few acitivity points plus all the walking and carrying the ton of bags I did. I am worn out. I feel lighter. (in my wallet anyway) There is something about getting out in the cold to get that excellent deal. It was all calm at best buy, On the other hand my mom was standing outside of Toys R Us and there were actual fist fights outside. Glad I was with the calm group.</p>
<p>Thanksgiving wasn&#8217;t not that bad for me. I did well on portions, Only went up 1 time for lunch and then 1 time later for dinner to ill my plate. There was a veggie tray that I was busy munching off of. At least the pickles and tomatoes. I dislike any raw veggie that crunches for some reason. As long as they are cooked I like them but not raw. My downfall was the cresent rolls. They were so good and I really indulged through out the day. I ate 5 of them. I am hoping to maintain my weight this week. I made the best choices I could in some intances. Weigh in is tommorow. Have a great night</p>

<p>Of course I had to go screw it up by agreeing to go to chinese. (Sorry Shelley) I just didn&#8217;t want to feel like the bad guy for saying no this time. So I gave in.  I only went up twice. I used to go up 3 or 4 times. I ended up eating a few things I shouldn&#8217;t have. I did put broccoli over 1/2 my plate to limit the amount of food. I also only ate 2 crab rangoons (which are my favorites). My second trip up I made sure to fill up with fresh fruit. I left stuffed. I have no Idea how many points I ended up with. </p>
<p> I am not going to let this distract me. I will brush this off and continue my quest for weight loss. I made a commitment to myself and my sister in law. I am getting back on track.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Happy Saturday. Hope everyone is well. I made a pizza from my WW cookbook today. Besides some of the edges are a little burnt, it is pretty good. It is six servings. I have eaten 3. I am really full right now but I am trying to resist the urge to go down stairs and eat more. I feel if I don&#8217;t It will go to waste. I hate waste. I really believe that is part of my problem with my weight. I would always finish what ever is on my plate and sometimes my kids even if I am full. I have done this for as long as I can remember. Eating out especially at buffets are the hardest. I remember growing up and having to go back to get more food because &#8220;You didn&#8217;t eat $2.75 worth of food.&#8221; I wasn&#8217;t hungry but I went back because that was what was expected of me. To this day i have always gone for a third and sometimes a forth plate to get our money&#8217;s worth. i havn&#8217;t eaten out at a buffet since I started WW. I am so afraid I will not  be able to control my self. and resort back to my old habits. I am sure my husband would probably say something about wasting money. I have noticed we would both say to the kids, you havn&#8217;t eaten much go back and get some more. Eat what is on oyur plate. My husband has made comments about tired of taking them out because they just waste money. I am turning into my parents. I know my parents loved us and ddin&#8217;t realize what they were doing was setting me up for a lifelong issue with food.  my sister says she noticed herself falling in the same runt. She was always more athletic and slimmer so I never noticed her having any problems. I am trying not to fall into the same pattern with my kids. More and more I am trying to reconize when I start on the food issues with my kids. Hubby and I have had words on this subject. He thinks we should make them eat. As lo0ng as they are eating some they will be fine. Their stomachs are alot smaller and can not handle as much as his can.</p>
<p>Food is a part of my life. I have to learn to control what i put in my mouth. It is easier for me to do this diet because I was cooking for myself. Everyone else was at work or school. Easier to control portions.  Just make enough for 1 person. No waste. Now we all are going to be on the same shift. I am going to have to adjust my ccoking for 4. and not go over portions.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It was another weigh in day at weight watchers. I lost 2.2 lbs this week. That puts me at 11.4 lb weight loss since I started weight watchers October 4, 2007. I am happy.  I have really enjoyed this program. I love the ladies at the meeting. I am going to miss them. I am switching shifts so I will have to go to a different meeting. Hopefully they are as nice and supportive as the morning ladies are. What is worse though will be that I will not be able to go with my sister in law. I Love doing the meetings with her. We get to spend more time hanging out.</p>
<p>We have decided to throw in a bigger incentive to lose weight. When we both lose 50 lbs, we are going to take a girl&#8217;s  day/night out and splurge on ourselves. New outfit, spa day, and then dinner out. We also will be getting a hotel so we won&#8217;t be to tired to drive home.No kids no husbands. If we can keep on the trend we are on then by next april we should have our day.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am tired. There is no doubt about it. I have been working hard. My goal this week was to earn 3 activity points. I have earned 9. I think I have met my goal. Food wise it has been hit and miss. I am staying within my points but not always meeting my healthy guidelines. Today i ended up with 10 points left over. I ended up skipping lunch because I was so busy at work. I had ebough time to pop some popcorn and eat it while I was charting. I was late getting off work and I had to rush home to get my kids ready for trick or treating. We walked for over 1 1/2 hours. part of the time I was carrying my 3 year old son. My feet were tired but it was worth it. Then I was 8 oclock before I even though about eating. Sunday we went to a new trail that opened and we walked for 45 minutes. I am going to dread winter time because it will be too cold to take the kids out and walk the trails. I enjoy doing that more than walking on a treadmill. Plus it is the family time I am enjoying.</p>
<p>I did sneak a treat out of my son&#8217;s bag. Bad mommy I know. I have a weakness for reeses peanut butter cup.  That would be my second one of the day. My grandma gave me one for halloween. And plus the two mini ones I had a work today. I feel like I need chocolate for stress at work. I need to find a better replacement. I couldn&#8217;t go to my office because I was on the floor working days. . And as of next week, I lose my office because I am getting a promotion back to days. More stress, but i will be home at the same time as all my family. Hope you all have a great evening.</p>
